Design

We design books. Just about every other book on this web site was designed by our studio (it's upstairs at the gallery, with a view of the mountain).

The other day we were asked to design packaging for a new spirit. Another client thought that since we do art so well, we should look at his new space, and... We have an abundance of design projects ranging from the commissioned to the self-initiated that we can't wait to share with you on our web site. A few of these will also be available in our shop in the new year.

We are always up for a new challenge, so let us know if there is something you need help with figuring out. We also welcome people with ideas that are looking for a home. Our details are on the Contact Us page.

The Ceramic Art of Robert Hodgins
Coinciding with the launch of a book by the same title, The ceramic Art of Robert Hodgins, focuses on Hodgins' extended foray into the medium of ceramics. Considered by many to be South Africa's most prominent canvas painter, Hodgins turned to ceramics in 1988, when ceramist Retief van Wyk proposed a collaborative venture in the ceramic studio. This was the start of a nineteen year association, the results of which are documented in van Wyk's new volume, and our corresponding exhibition.
