FORTHCOMING PUBLICATIONS
Bell-Roberts' new magazine focusing on photography from around the African continent, Snapped, was launched at the Design Indaba Expo and is now available via subscription or order from Bell-Roberts.
Visit us on Stand Number 17 at the Joburg International Art Fair from the 13th to 16th March 2008.
The Ceramic Art of Robert Hodgins
Coinciding with the launch of a book by the same title, The ceramic Art of Robert Hodgins, focuses on Hodgins' extended foray into the medium of ceramics. Considered by many to be South Africa's most prominent canvas painter, Hodgins turned to ceramics in 1988, when ceramist Retief van Wyk proposed a collaborative venture in the ceramic studio. This was the start of a nineteen year association, the results of which are documented in van Wyk's new volume, and our corresponding exhibition.
